This newly renovated cottage is situated in the mountain village of Liboreiro 5 km above the pretty riverside town of Gois with views all round of the beautiful countryside and forests. It is fully furnished with all the comforts of a family home and can sleep 4.
On the ground floor there is a large entrance hall leading off to two double bedrooms each with an ensuite shower room. All bedding and towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
There is a wooden staircase leading up to the first floor landing where there is a small study area and a utility room with washing machine, washbasin and toilet.
There is a large open plan living area consisting of a lounge, dining room and kitchen with a gas cooker, fridge and all the requirements for self-catering. 
There are two balconies, a large one from the living room and a small one from the kitchen both with patio furniture and offering wonderful views over the surrounding countryside and out to the mountains.
There is a T.V. but it can only be used for watching videos and there is a music centre with a selection of CDs. There are also books and games in the study.
The garden area is bordered by a wall with olive and fruit trees and affords beautiful views across the valley and over the tree tops. There is a large tiled patio/ BBQ area for sitting out at ground level too.
The ancient town of Gois has a supermarket, bank, post office and several shops and coffee bars as well as restaurants. The riverside is a joy to walk along with several river beaches, waterside cafes, a bar and stalls. There is a small market on a Tuesday where you can buy local produce and cheeses etc.
The area is ideal for walking, fishing, cycling, horse riding and it is a good centre for touring and experiencing the real Portugal. This is the place to unwind, relax and enjoy!!
The house is available all year round.
