We have for rent a 2-bed, charming cottage in the centre of a this quiet, hill-top village, close to the pretty market towns of Coja and Arganil. The cottage has been newly renovated and has stunning views across the valley from the breakfast terrace, where you can dine 'al-fresco'.
The house has 2 double bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin + 2 x sofa beds), fitted kitchen, dining area (seats 6), lounge, bathroom & BBQ.
The large living area is equipped with TV/DVD, videos, books & games. The living room has doors to the large garden, with views across to the mountains.
Outside, there is a patio complete with furniture & a terraced garden, with olive and fruit trees, under which you can take a picnic. Or, make use of the large, covered area and BBQ, where you can dine when the weather becomes too hot!
The kitchen is fully fitted, complete with fridge/freezer & microwave, toaster, kettle etc. Linens & towels are included in the rental, but beach towels are not.
The house is well situated, being just 3kms from Coja, (which has a small supermarket, post office & banks) & 12kms from the larger market town of Arganil, which has several cafés and a weekly market.
Just 500m from the house is a river beach, where you can picnic, or dine at the river side restaurant which serves typical Portuguese dishes, as well as providing take-away meals & pizza!
