Alva Property Rentals, Portugal, offers a small but discerning collection of properties to rent in the Central region of Portugal.
Our properties are based within a 20 mile radius of the market town of Arganil. Some of the properties are authentic, Portuguese cottages tucked away in pretty mountain villages or in the beautful countryside, whilst others have been recently renovated to a high standard and are tastefully furnished and equipped with all the modern conveniences you would wish to find in a holiday home.
Portugal is a beautiful country with a long coastline of silver sands that have been much visited by the international traveller. What remains in the interior is still largely undiscovered and remains very much the real Portugal.
Here in Central Portugal you will find some of the most breathtaking views from the mountains with lush green valleys where the River Alva and River Mondego flow on to the Atlantic. The area is peppered by small mountain villages with their whitewashed houses, where time appears to have stood still, and larger market towns, all of them retaining that sense of community, which makes the area such a pleasant one to stay in.
